Becoming ever popular as a fantasy league tradition, keeper and dynasty leagues are becoming a higher percentage of the fantasy leagues out there. Keeper and Dynasty refer to how fantasy players are carried over on rosters from year to year. Dynasty leagues are auction leagues that keep all players on their roster with just a rookie fantasy draft and redraft each year, whereas the Keeper leagues usually only retain up to 5 players on each roster, releasing the rest to free agency for the upcoming fantasy draft and redraft. There is definite mix of how leagues wish to do their fantasy drafts. The traditional, long term league usually has a live, in-person, offline draft and then records the drafted players later into the fantasy league commissioner tool. As more and more leagues spring up, the online draft has made its way into popularity.
